Sunset Breeze House by Michelle Kaufmann and Sunset Mag

The Sunset Breezehouse is the newest “clean and green” modular home designed by Michelle Kaufmann Designs and Sunset Magazine. One of the key features of the Sunset Breezehouse home is that every major room have private garden: bedroom gardens, private bath garden, entry garden, and a kitchen herb garden. The Sunset Breezehouse home is designed to blur the boundary between interior and exterior. By borrowing space from the outdoors, the house feels larger than it is. The home is green in many ways.

I was wondering how feasable this plan will be for a single floorplan. I just saw one of these homes being put together on T.V., a smaller version. Can this house be custom designed by the consumer?
It really does seem to be the ideal GREEN home, however I would choose waterless toilets and solar panels, rainwater collection and storage for going GREEN completely. I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks, Laura
