Fruitree by Chia Shee Loh, Antonietta Fortunato, Elena Godenzi
The Fruitree concept designed by Chia Shee Loh, Antonietta and Elena Godenzi is a new vision of the fruit basket. This fruit basket keeps your fruits fresh in evidence instead of being hidden in the fridge. It includes a system of diffusion and treatment which eliminates the bacteria and delays the natural oxidation of the fruits, giving them a greater freshness and a better conservation.

[...] It is a fridge designed by chuan shi, Wenying Lu, Chuan Shi, Yu Li. It reminds us the fruitree with the difference that, this one is combined with a tree branch shape storage system and several single fridges. It try to bring the memory of tree house in our childhood to the kitchen in daily life. One fridge has holes and pattern on the door as a fruit shelf. People can pick up a fruit from a tree. Another is like a bird house. Doors can slide away when a hand is placed in front of it. It’s funny how one can draw out an egg from a bird’s nest. There is also a special device designed at the foot of the door, when people step on it, a wheel with small motor will slide the door open. [...]
