Urban Cactus High-Rise

The Urban Cactus is an architectural project designed by UCX Architects for the city of Rotterdam. This housing project will accomodate 98 residential units within its 19 floors which have been given an enormous amount of exterior garden space due to the alternating forms. Its “green” looks is eye-candy and should provide a breath of fresh air in urban environments.

It seems to be a good solution to urban green housing , where each patio has a portion that is directly lite by sunlight and open to the sky, however the privacy and noise level may be a cause of concern….

Good insulation, will deter the noise from affecting the occupants will inside the buildings, butnot no on the patio
