Lemaire Shop by Franklin Azzi

The first Christophe Lemaire‘ Shop is opening at 28 rue de Poitou 75003 Paris. This project, is another amazing realization of Franklin Azzi‘s architecture.

Doesn’t care to hoots about spots, fitting rooms etc… He replaces them by more cosier apartments. He uses materiels such as thick fitted camel carpet, Chesterfield sofa, photo on the wall , dressing room, music studio covered with acoustic panels. He’s got a sharp eye and he is not scared to explore the materials in different ways.

The miror on the ceiling is bringing texture to the wallpaper.

It is there that, 100m2, through three rooms with different environments,
spreads the universe of Lemaire. This shop is the logical destination of the
collections but also a kind of ECRIN where, contextualized, they take their
direction. Far from denying the commercial vocation of clothing in this
which it is made to be carried and not to ravel on a podium, Christophe
Lemaire makes very to make his collections readable within the shop. For as
much, the universe of Lemaire is well there.

In a contemporary architecture
completely registered in its time, under a faceted polished brass ceiling,
pieces of furniture of varied styles with hi-tech and clouded musical
instruments distilling an impression of smart eclectic, of “luxe fatigué”.
All contributes to it in a rupture with the ethics minimalist which
currently prevails. Thus, the case it yielded the place to a sofa,
Chesterfield out of leather gold where the transactions proceed way
certainly unusual but comfortable. While taking started from express his own
taste there, Christophe Lemaire wanted a place more personal than
conventional.
