“Anguish” by Nevin Hirik

The Art Images Gallery Adelaide, South Australia presents “Anguish”, a solo exhibition of new works by celebrated Australian artist, Nevin Hirik, 1 June to 24 June 2007. Nevin Hirik is a successful young artist based in Melbourne, who emigrated from Turkey 13 years ago, and was the only artist to sell out at the last Sydney Art Fair, despite this being only her fourth solo exhibition. Her female figures are gentle, airily translucent and emotional.The figures are striped back from the human to the energy of a soul.
