Summer house by Strindberg Arkitekter in Sweden

With a wonderful view, close to the Baltic, the house build by Strindberg Arkitekter is situated in the northern part of Öland, Sweden.The family wanted a “house from Öland” and the design is focusing in the use of typical materials in a modern way. The lay out has grown out of the micro climate and the beautiful view of the Baltic.

The materials are limb stone and larch that in time will turn gray and with a green roof. The house will in a couple of years be a part of nature, in the same way as a local farm house. Inside light, white birch as a background to the beautiful furniture chosen by the family.
