I have been looking for a possibly pre-fabed house to put on the island of Roatan in Honduras. I have been looking into doing it of bamboo rather than local timber, which would be more eco-friendly, plus using solar panels. however, I have found that it would be more expensive to build that way or buy pre-fab from elsewhere than using local wood or concrete.
