This is a firehouse in Mexico City designed by at 103 and bgp arquitectura. The new firehouse has both public and private spaces, including an information and recruitment point.

The typical poles appear to be staggered [so the firemen aren’t dropping four storeys down a metal post] from floor to floor – and it looks like one pole is actually behind that vertical slit on the building’s facade [they seem to run along the column grid]. It’d be an exciting edition to the building’s facade if you could see firefighters sliding down that badass when there’s a fire…
