Duomo Hotel by Ron Arad
The Duomo Hotel is a Ron Arad-designed conceptual hotel located in the historic center of Rimini. Arad Associates have integrated the original facade into the interior by wrapping it all in new “skin” which meanders its way into the building and forms the back wall of the bar.
The bar is a large island construction with fjord-like recesses for dining; the material used is polished stainless steel, creating distorted reflections which highlight the activity in the bar.
The 43 bedrooms and suites of the duoMo hotel are uniquely designed with individually formed bathroom “pods” forming the backdrop to the sleeping area.
