I wonder why when I design new concepts i am not respected. But these ‘artists’ design cartoony merchandise and they are totally embraced? They are considered geniuses but I ‘don’t know what I am doing’. i won’t even go into the sheer number of people who have plagiarized my concepts.

Are you an Artist or someone who wants to be loved.
As an Artist you work for yourself, your own satisfaction and pleasure. The struggle of producing a piece of art is such a roller coaster of emotions and then to expect other people to like what you have produced in a moment of complete selfishness is quite bizarre. If they do like your work its a bonus and if they part with money well!
These salt and pepper shakers are brilliant. I did know who had design them when I bought a set and it would not of mattered; all I know is that they give a great deal of pleasure, happiness and comment from all to see them.
Its also possible the reason you and your designs are not “respected” is that there not very good.
