Habode by Rod Gibson

Habode is built on an eco-friendly concept designed by New Zealander Rod Gibson who recalls the enjoyment of holidays in a secluded spot near clear waters and green grass that epitomizes the development of family values he took for granted as a child in the early 1960′s.

An eco-friendly concept that appears to fold out of two shipping container sized frames that can be transported anywhere using standard container handling equipment, without being limited by the solid steel walls of a standard shipping container.

Designer Rod Gibson says “Design shapes our lives. Whether man-made, or from nature, design influences many of our decisions. From the products we buy; to the services we use; to the impressions we have. Design affects us all; our emotions, our ethos, our actions; our vision.”

Hi there! We have bought Habode home but Tasman Distric Council would not pass it as a habitable building as Habode Neson did not supply us with the relevant (updated) documentation. We ra every frustrated with this company as they never told us that our will be the first Habode in Nelson destined for residential purpose… After they upgraded design they never bothered to provide us with papers regarding the changes so now we are stuck – we do not want to buy a building which could not even get a permit approved!!!! Very dissapointed and hoping to pull out of the contract, even if we will have to take matter to the Court.

If you want to sell the Habode you have let me know. I want one for Auckland and would need to truck it up there.
