Dendrite by Nervous System
Dentrite is a jewelery collection created by Nervous System, a collaboration between Jessica Eve Rosenkrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg. There are made of Stainless steel cut into delicate forms inspired by the aggregate growth of coral.
Jesse and Jessica met in 2004 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology where Jessica was studying Architecture and Biology and Jesse was studying Mathematics and Computer Science.
Their work stems from a fascination with biological and mathematical processes and a desire to craft. They also promote a new paradigm of design which involves engaging the consumer in the design process, open source development, digital fabrication, education and sustainability.
