HOUSE kn by Kochi Architect’s Studio
The following is one of several beautiful residential projects from Kochi Architects Studio out of Japan.
HOUSE kn created by Kochi Architect’s Studio is located in Kanagawa, Japan. It is a private residence - gardens in front, houses pushed back from the street. Step one in the design of the house was the creation of a large ‘box’ that inhabits the entire site - and then carving a void from this ‘box’ for the garden/yard space.
The void then acts as a window for the house - framing the garden, the sky, and views out from the box.
