A House among the Treetops by Steven Isaacs and Lisa Saville

Steven Isaacs and Lisa Saville have build this house with the idea that the project have to be environmentally sensitive as possible.

A retention of a 30-meter-high eucalyptus rises through the rear is forming a frame to the treetop vista. Other eco-smart elements include the home’s elegant butterfly roof that provides shade, draws in morning light and channels rainwater into 9000-liter water tanks. Supplies are used for toilets, laundry and garden. The design has been an inspiration for Saville, who set up an architectural office from home after the birth of her first child, three-year-old Levi.
