Soaring Wings by Winn Wittman Architecture

“Soaring Wings” was designed by award winning Texas architect Winn Wittman, AIA.

Winn Wittman,AIA, is well known and highly regarded in the architectural community of Austin Texas His approach to architecture is sculptural at its core, and features timeless forms and authentic materials, in a way that is bold yet harmonious — compatible with the surroundings and conducive to the lives of the occupants.


The home sits on two residential lots at 202 Redbud Trail, one of the most storied streets in the heart of West Lake Hills. Within Austin proper, yet it’s own city, West Lake Hills is heavily wooded, punctuated by hills and canyons, and the beautiful Wild Basin Preserve is nearby.

It has around 6,000 square feet of interior space as well as 3,500 square feet of outdoor living space in decks, balconies and patios. There is a heated saltwater pool of black granite with fiber-optic color lighting. The three-story house has a copper roof and outdoor steps made of Arizona pink sandstone.

The house also has an elevator and a butler’s pantry with a wine cooler, movie room and a wine cellar. The new home is listed at $4.8 million. After the jump, another amazing zen bathtub, a 3,000 pound granite tub in the master bath.
