The Strange Carafes by Etienne Meneau

Etienne Meneau has created two new designs of wine decanters/sculptures in the same series. They featuring two sides which resemble the roots of a tree or veins in the body. Both are available in limited editions.

    I would really really like to see you wash any sediment out of one of these amazingly stupidly shaped decanters. Letting alone the fact that decanters are supposed to expose the wine to oxygen. These are bottles, not decanters. Of course, as sculptures they are fine – as design, they are a disaster.
