Vandenbrink GTO by Vandenbrink Design

The Vandenbrink GTO has been awarded the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2008. The award is given by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and is the oldest and most prestigious awards program worldwide, elevating the best and finest new design and design innovation for products.

The Vandenbrink GTO is a limited re-bodied version of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. This means an entirely new coachwork, designed by Michiel van den Brink, is fitted on the stripped chassis and drivetrain of a Ferrari 599 GTB production car. The car’s styling is inspired by the 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO as a tribute.

Michiel van den Brink: “We are proud to receive this prestigious award, being recognized by
art and industry leaders as a top-level player next to highly esteemed designers like Walter de’Silva.
This is a great honour for our young design company”.
