The Expected Return of Color in the kitchen by Smeg

The modern kitchen is often cloaked in subtle shades and minimalist designs, but new oven and hob combinations from Smeg are sure to brighten up the dullest of kitchens. EuroCucina kitchen appliance and design show in Milan gave the company the opportunity to show off their multicoloured range – put together by designer Marc Newson.

Mark Newson is also working with the company to develop a new line of fridges.

Mr Newson told DomusWeb that the ovens “relate to the past” and that they used “materials and finishes you don’t see that often in these kinds of appliances.”
