“Mehrzeller,” the Multicellular Caravan

I am not convinced by the outside appearance of this caravan, but the interior is very well studied. “Mehrzeller”, which means multicellular Caravan in English is the creation of Christian Freissling Kalteis and Theresa, two designers from Graz University of Technology in Austria.

The configuration is generated by a computer using the customer’s inputs, and then the final design is done by parameters from the architects to yield an attractive and practicable result. The caravans are produced using the principles of “mass customization”: this allows both the individual wishes of the customer to be accommodated while producing the caravan with series methods.

I’m not sure about the exterior, but I’m sure Captain Kirk would approve the interior of this caravan.
