Jason van Genderen’s Mankind Is No Island is a 3 ½ minute film that was shot entirely on a cell phone and took home the top $20,000 prize at Tropfest, NY, the world’s largest short film festival.

    This short is simple, yet beautiful. Lots of filmmakers tend to forget that life that surrounds us is the best source of inspiration for making compelling movies. Great job!

    I rightful don´t see movies evolving, For me it´s suchlike the old movies, without the total engineering occurrence were more punter. They had form.
