Car in a Giant Tattoo-Covered Ice Cube by Henry Hate
Tattoo artist Henry Hate has unveiled his first ever sculpture and the world’s first ice tattoo to mark the launch of the Nissan Cube.
Take a Nissan Cube, 8000 litres of water, filtered then frozen for 240 days, sculpted with Japanese Samurai chisels and you have Cube in a Cube…
The artistic installation featured a unique tattoo design on a large Japanese inspired, cubed ice sculpture which housed the brand new Nissan Cube inside. The installation also featured an interactive sensor panel which lit up Henry Hate’s tattoo design and elements of the Nissan Cube.
Featuring an interactive sensor panel on the giant ice cube at Potters Fields, the wintry sculpture will light up various parts of the car and the design on the surface when pressed by visitors. Highlighting various areas of the sculpture with lights and colour, this is a unique way for people to get involved with the ice installation.
Henry is famous for tattooing the likes of Amy Winehouse and Pete Doherty, so you never know if they might pop down for a butchers at their tattooists own handiwork.
Henry Hate’s tattoo ice installation is available to view until Thursday 11 February at Potters Fields Park near Tower Bridge.

The most vital thing i think when having a tattoo done is to go to a reputable tattooist. It’s well worth spending some internet time finding out which places are to be avoided and which place has a good reputation – it’s worth spending a few quid more to have peace of mind that your tattoo is going to be excellent
