Flowlab Skateboard by Mike Simonian & Pieter Schouten

Mike Simonian in collaboration with Pieter Schouten have made this skateboard in order to add the flexibility of snowboarding movements to skateboarding. Rather than having four wheels, the Flowlab sports 14 arranged in a set of curved parallel lines. They allow you to lean far into each turn, treating the skateboard almost like a snowboard. A traditional skateboard can lean up to 25 degrees, while a Flowlab ups that to 45 degrees.

  1. movie news Says:

that looks cool and probably smoother to turn and lean on the board.. are those wheels to small though, that there is a lot of rolling resistence, noisy or cannot really get up to speed. do small rocks throw you off, with wheels that small?
