Nest Rest by Daniel Pouzet & Fred Frety for Dedon

The Nest Rest is a new hanging pod woven from supersized strands of 4-cm-wide Dedon fiber. Designed by Daniel Pouzet and Fred Frety for Dedon, the Nest Rest hanging lounger boasts a casual, contemporary aesthetic with its large-scale bird’s-nest wicker weave.

The cozy, protective structure sits on the ground or hangs from a tree. When hung in the air, it rocks gently with your movement or with the wind. Fixed on the ground, it provides a stable bed on which to rest.

[...] If you want something special to take a nap or just to relax, then the Nest Rest is more than perfect! Forget about your armchair, bed or sofa designed by Fred Frety and Daniel Pouzet for Dedon, the Nest Rest is made of strands from Dedon fiber of 4 cm wide. It has been especially created in order to be placed either on the ground or hung from a tree. With its unusual and contemporary aspect, from the distance it looks like a large-scale bird’s nest. If you place it in the nature, being hung in the air, the nest goes perfectly with your movements or with the wind. You can read a book, watch the landscapes or just sleep. If you fix it on the ground, the nest becomes much more stable, being similar with a bed. A perfect article for your home. I ‘m lovin’it ! via – cubeme [...]

Dare and the world always yields. lf it beats you sometimes, dare it again and again and it will succumb.
