Marbelous Table by Ontwerpduo is a maple wood table whose surface and legs are routed to hold steel marbles, turning the piece of furniture into an interactive game. When you get bored of your meal, you can put marbles in the top and watch them follow an elaborate path around the legs and down to the ground.

From my childhood I remember it was always exiting to combine these two. I used the woodcarvings of furniture as a playfield for my puppets, to play in a new world. With this feeling in mind we created a concept for a new piece of furniture.
