THE 2012 Electrolux Design Lab Competition
The 2012 Electrolux Design Lab brief challenges design students to focus on design for the senses. Electrolux Design Lab created five films illustrating each sense. First out, is taste. How would you reward the senses through design?
The jury will take special note of the aesthetic qualities of the concept and the way textures and surface materials have been used. This is what we will be trying to highlight through the films. Each film is 20 seconds and feature a visually inspiring content symbolizing each of our senses, one film for taste, one for hearing etc. We’ll release a new film every two weeks. Additionally, and in keeping with the heritage of Electrolux, your concept should reflect Scandinavian Design values – being sensitive to the environment, providing intuitive ease of use and aesthetic appeal.
