‘Impossible,’ iPhone Polaroids by Instant Lab

Instant Lab have created a device called the Impossible Instant Lab which allows users to make physical prints from digital snaps shot on the iPhone.

To use, simply place the iPhone on the holder and activate the machine’s shutter for a specified duration–what happens is the light from your iPhone’s display will help expose the film. After that, all you need to do is to close the shutter, push a button and your photo would be ready.

As every instant film contains packets of photo chemicals within, after the film has been exposed, the Impossible Instant Lab squeezes these chemicals through a series of rollers and develops the film resulting in the final print.
