“Floating Garden” by Benjamin Graindorge and Duende Studio brings an innovative solution to the daily maintenance constraints of freshwater aquariums with a filtering system that is 100% natural: a cushion of sand + plants that adapts to each and every model. Its recycling principle based on hydroponics does away with the chore of regular water changes and proposes a new domestic- scale typology, between the decorative glass vase and the water purifying plant.

Havaleena Led Torch by Tayo

Tayo has designed these things to be bundled as a bouquet in a vase. Each torch can also be carried around separately like a flashlight, or screwed into a longer aluminum base to create a floorlamp. The light comes with 4 different color filters that can be easily changed to match the occasion or the decor, and the filters can even be printed on if you want to customize your little Havaleena. Although we can’t quite get over the glow-stick memories that these conjure up, we still think they are pretty cute.
The Microwave Vase

At first glance, I was impressed by the beauty and simplicity of this vase. Then I was even more amazed when I discovered that this stylish object sitting on the table is a fully-funtional microwave. Once you place food inside and the top knob is adjusted for time, it cooks your food in a heartbeat. The little green leaf on the top lights up to let you know that your meal is ready. Let’s hope that this concept developed by Woo Seokmoon will actually go into production in the near future.
Fish Pod

Instead of filling empty wall space with another picture frame, display an aquatic environment. The Hanging Fish Pod is a fish bowl with a hemisphere shape that is made to hang on a wall. The back of the Hanging Fish Pod rests flush against the wall and the front of the Hanging Fish Pod protrudes 5 inches. It holds approximately one gallon of water and would make a cozy home for a lonely betta fish or an other small fish. When not inhabited by a fish, other uses for this hanging hemisphere are possible: they could also serve as a funky vase.

The Meurice Chandelier is available in three fittings: in Antique Brass, in Deep Patina Bronze and in Polished Nickel.
