The glass home is a collaboration between founder Carlo Santambrogio and designer Ennio Arosio featuring a series of iconic furniture pieces, beds, sofas and bookcases, along with architectural elements such as staircases and kitchens.

The house set out to create a dynamic and contemporary addition + renovation to an existing “Queenslander.” With an ongoing interest in room making, they questioned how the new facade may conceal or reveal the arrangement of rooms and the building’s cross section, and conversely, how the nature of rooms directly behind the facade may inform its elevational composition.
Healthcare Center Competition Won by NORD Architects

Copenhagen dedicated €5.4million and outlined a design competition to build a Healthcare Centre for cancer patients in the city to be run in collaboration with the Danish Cancer Society. NORD Architects have just been announced as the winners with a design that utilises, space, natural light and outdoor gardens to encourage a positive mind.

Deyan Sudjic had said of a Maggie’s Centre, “This is a place that feels as if it’s about life, rather than death…it’s a place of reassurance and respite,” and this is the principle of the design.
Citadel Floating Apartment Complex by Koen Olthuis

The Citadel Floating Apartment Complex, a 60-unit luxury apartment complex designed by Dutch architect Koen Olthuis for Dutch firm Waterstudio, defies the tides while cutting energy use by 25 percent Waterstudio. The Citadel will rise and fall with the changing water levels.
The Citadel will be comprised of 60 luxury apartments, a parking garage, a floating roadway, and boat docks as well as a garden terrace and many greenhouses.
