Porthole Drink Infuser by Martin Kastner


Chicago-based Crucial Detail design studio has created the Porthole infuser. Designer Martin Kastner, who was inspired to create the vessel infuser during a conversation with the bar chefs at the Aviary, preparing for the opening of the restaurant. Inspired by this desire to make an infuser that was reflective of a window, the team at Crucial Detail provided the circular Porthole with glass sides for a spectacular view of imaginative concoctions. The striking design makes it simple to see striking of a variety of time-lapse infusions for: cocktails, oils, teas, dressings, lemonade, coffee, or any other type of infusion.

These popsicles by artist Sebastian Errazuriz “are made of “frozen holy wine transformed into the blood of Christ” and featuring a crucifix instead the tongue depressor that typically hosts the frozen treats.

An image of Jesus Christ positioned traditionally on the cross is visible once the ice pop is consumed. As for the frozen wine, Errazuriz said, he concealed it in a cooler and took it into a church, where it was “inadvertently blessed by the priest while turning wine into the blood of Christ during the Eucharist.” Read More…

In order to prevent cardiovascular and blood pressure diseases we have to start with the root of the problem, our daily consume of food and beverage.
A wine decanter is built together with a water carafe. A half half coloured mix of red and white. Red wine stands for low pressure, water stands for high pressure.
The organic heart shape has been developed into two different, stand-alone objects according to the natural division of ventricles.

Tasty Pantone Chip Cookies

Kim Neil, created these rad Pantone chip cookies for her clients Christmas gifts after nabbing some great Pantone chip tins at Blick’s Art Supply. Kim is a freelance designer and illustrator and she created these fabulous Pantone cookies using her collection of Pantone chips. Inspired by this fun Pantone tin, Kim worked with Royal icing to create the exact colors and even broke out her luster dust to create metallic “chip” cookies. Once the icing set, she used an edible marker to add the Pantone numbers.
