The ‘Sealander,’ Amphibious Camping Trailer by Daniel Straub

Sealander built by German designer Daniel Straub, is a clever two-in-one vehicle that combines features of an electric power boat and a camping trailer. The ‘Sealander’ is not really designed for a crossing of the Atlantic, but rather to shallow waters. Sealander’s shell is made of fiberglass reinforced plastic with a double bottom to prevent sinking in case of a leakage. Power is via a 5 hp electric motor which doubles as a source of energy for on-board devices.
