Ford Airstream Concept 2007

The Ford Airstream Concept, unveiled on January 7th, is a crossover vehicle that borrows its styling cues from streamlined, aluminum shells of the classic Airstream trailers. It is inspired by the iconic aluminum-skinned trailers of Airstream, a company that has become a symbol of travel on U.S. highways and byways.
The system, called HySeries Driv, is powered by a 336-volt lithium-ion battery pack at all times and has a range of 25 miles on a full electric power. Once the battery pack is depleted by about 40 percent, the hydrogen-powered fuel cell begins generating electricity to recharge the batteries, increasing range another 280 miles, for a total driving range of more than 300 miles.
Recy Mercedes-Benz Concept Car

This recyclable two-seater wood roadster from Mercedes-Benz is the first entry for the 2006 LA Design Challenge. The competition challenges car manufacturers to design an environmental friendly car. This beautiful design is made entirely of wood, alloys and metals which are completely recyclable. I’m glad to see that the auto industry is finally interested in producing stylish eco-friendly cars. Let’s hope that the visions of today will become a reality tomorrow.
Suzuki LC

The LC is a funny recreation of Suzuki’s first cars, which had space for only two people. All the details have been mulled over to give this car a vintage look. This cute little beast is powered by a 660cc, 3 cylinder, DOHC engine, paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission. Too kawaii!
2006 Dodge Challenger Concept

I’ve always been a big fan of muscle cars and when I saw the 2006 Dodge Challenger concept car, my eyes literally popped out of my head. This beast is based on the iconic 1970 model, a car with mega horsepower and pure lines. Rethought, reworked, reproportioned and redesigned, the Challenger concept car offers a HEMI-powered performance coupe derived from one of the most sought after classic American muscle car. I’m sure this car would give General Lee a run for its money!
