Basla Hemp Surfboard By Ocean Green

ocean greean board.jpg

The ultimate goal of Ocean Green is to produce custom surfboards that are entirely made out of natural materials.

The ecofoil blanks are lighter than their polyurethane counterparts and produce a fantastic looking board. Their hollow design overcomes the lack of performance inherent to solid wooden boards. The balsa is sourced in Nicaragua. Wood from sustainable forests is carefully selected and transported to Fair Trade workshops where carpenters transform it into the various ecofoil components. Ocean Green receives the components in Cornwall and then combines the shaped EcoFoil blanks with organically grown hemp cloth to produce a fantastic looking, high performance board.

Hotel Everland

400.jpg
Created by the Swiss artists Sabina Lang and Daniel Baumann, the hotel Everland has just one room on the roof of the gallery for contemporary art in Leipzig, a luxurious bathroom, a king-size bed and a lounge. The bounteous dimensioned room represents the subjective dream of a hotel: the architecture, the playful details, as well as the request to steal the golden embroidered bath towels. From June 2006 until August 5, 2007 you can take a peek at Hotel Everland during the opening times.

The GMC Pad is the winner of the prestigious 2006 Design Los Angeles Vehicle Design Challenge. The concept behind this “LAV” (living activity vehicle) is that of an urban loft with mobility.

The recoiling cable with adjustable combo lock wraps around the snowboard, through the bindings, to the ski rack. While we would recommend leaving your board tied up overnight, at lunch-time, it will deter thieves from grabbing it and nonchalantly walking away. The Board Lock‘s clean, low profile design fits neatly into your pocket. You love your board, so protect it.

Option Mirror Snowboard

snow.jpg

The Option Mirror Snowboard is the perfect choice when you can’t play on pavement. If you’re into skateboarding but you want to shred on the snow too, you’ll love this board. You’ll instantly recognize that this board’s shape mimics the kicked-up tips and tail of a skate deck. The similarities don’t end there, as a freestyle profile and all-wood core provide the feel of rolling on four wheels when sliding on snow. These qualities make the Mirror a weapon of choice for park and pipe riding.
