LM Guest House situated in upstate New York, celebrates the beauty of the surrounding landscape – embracing views through an all-glass facade magnify the spacious, open feel of the living areas. House H based in Japan by Mattch Architecture has very special external structure. The curved facade and the irregular shape of the roof tends to cut conventional corners. The highest point of the roof, a light source comes from the middle of the ceiling providing illuminating the courtyard of the house. Scott & Scott Architects’ Alpine Cabin

Scott & Scott Architect have recently completed their first project a fantastic place of retirement for skiers and snowboarders in an alpine on the north end of Vancouver. The architects team Susan and David Scott, had the help of friends and family to construct the cabin themselves using wood from the region. The inspiration for the design came from both the surrounding landscape as well as the activities they wanted to partake in—namely snowboarding.
