Kitchen Of the future by Antoine Lebrun for Fagor Brandt
Futuristic kitchen designed by Antoine Lebrun for Fagor Brandt is intended for small places and should go along with the lines and curves of our homes in just 10 years.
If you look at the kitchen design, there are specialized plants that were developed by the aerospace industry for their filtering and cleaning properties. They provide a renewable supply of clean water and vegetable soap. When cooking, the plants act as a filtering hood. When it’s time to clean up, simply place the dirty dishes in the sink, close the hood, and the all natural clean cycle begins.
Kitchen One

Kitchen One is a project created by Lionel Devlieger in collaboration with Eric Van den Broucke for Rotor, a Brussels-based design group who works specifically in the realm of industrial waste re-use. The paneling of the cupboards for this kitchen is made out of laser-cut plywood, an industrial leftover from a company that specialized in die-cutting cardboard for the packaging of luxury-goods.

Whirlpool’s Green Kitchen Concept
Whirlpool has showcased its futuristic version of a “green” kitchen. The concept is designed to redistribute 60% of the water and heat generated from the various kitchen appliances to fuel other appliances or functions.

An example would be using the heat from the refrigerator’s compressor to provide hot water. The basic idea is to create an “kitchen eco-system,” modeled after nature’s own cycle, which, theoretically, should boast up to 70% energy efficiency over ordinary kitchens — yielding up to 24% in money savings.
